In 2016 he decided to launch a family-owned restaurant that quickly became the best BBQ experience in town.
John enjoyed spending time with family and friends as well as greeting customers of Brooklyn's BBQ and making them feel like they were family. John and Julie enjoyed entertaining friends at the lake. He loved wakeboarding, surfboarding, camping and poker. His favorite moments in life included visits to Cancun with Julie, the kids, and invited friends.
John will be missed by countless friends and family members. He touched the lives of many people and helped many local nonprofits and schools with their fundraising efforts. He was always generous and would help anyone who asked for help.
