John Harold Parks was born April 8, 1921 in Hoyt, Oklahoma to John T. Parks and Grace Lee (Smith) Parks. He served his country during World War II attaining the rank of corporal upon being honorably discharged in 1946. He worked for over 50years as a truck driver. He is survived by his son, John Parks & many other loving family members. Graveside funeral services were held at South Kern Cemetery, Arvin on Thursday, June 11, 2009 at 1pm. Pastor Bob Noble officiated the service and interment followed.
