Jesus Hinojosa Rodriguez was born in Miguel Aleman, Tamaulipas, and México on February 27, 1945 to Juan and Paula (Rodriguez) Hinojosa. Jesus married Petra Flores on January 1, 1963 and in 1964 they settled in Wasco. Jesus worked as a truck driver for B & N Trucking and CPS Trucking and retired after working for over 42 years. Jesus loved going to the casinos at Eagle Mountain and Lemoore. He was a good mechanic and enjoyed helping friends and family by repairing to their cars at home. He loved having barbeques and eating steaks; joking with his family and friends. His family was the most important part of his life and he loved being with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jesus Hinojosa Rodriguez is preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law, Pedro Flores. He is survived by his wife Petra; sons, Jessie Hinojosa, Jr and wife Sandra of Bakersfield, Juan Hinojosa and wife Charlene of Wasco; daughters, Mary Nunez and husband Abel, Maricela Sanchez and husband Ralph of Wasco; brothers, Juan Hinojosa, Joe Hinojosa, Jaime Hinojosa and Jorge Hinojosa; sisters, Maria Guadalupe Resendez, Marie Hinojosa and Alma Hinojosa; 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on Monday, February 13, 2012 at 6pm at Peters Funeral Home for Jesus Hinojosa Rodriguez, age 66, of Wasco, who passed away on February 7, 2012 in Bakersfield. Mass of Christian Burial will be said on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at 10am at St. John's Catholic Church. Father John Fluetsch will officiate and interment will follow at Wasco Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Sunday and Monday from 2-8pm at Peters Funeral Home.
