Jestine Edna Margaret Osborn Teacher's Aide, 61 Jestine Edna Margaret Osborn, a 24-year resident of California and a 13-year resident of Morongo Valley, died Aug. 27, 2010, at home. She was 61years old. The daughter of Gerhard A. Maass and Estelle E. Popiel, she was born Sept. 24, 1949, in Detroit, Mich. Mrs. Osborn was a teacher's aide for the Palm Springs Unified School District for 15 years. She was married to Michael Sabo for 14 years. She was preceded in death by her second husband, Robert Osborn. She is survived by mother Estelle Maass of Yucca Valley; sons Kevin Sabo of Lake Orion, Mich., and Joseph Sabo of Indio; and daughters Coleen Sabo and Patricia Sabo, both of Lake Orion, Mich. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17, at Wiefels and Son Funeral Chapel in Yucca Valley. Inurnment will be private. In lieu of flowers, make memorial donations to the Diabetes Foundation of America.
