Jessie Luisa Perez January 14, 1928 – May 30, 2009 Jessie Luisa Perez was born January 14, 1928 in Brawley, California to Frank and Carlota (Agundez) Gularte. Jessie was raised in Brawley, California and moved to Wasco. She met Pascual the at the movie theater, they married shortly after. Jessie was a house wife her hobbies were drawing; crocheting doilies and listening to music, her favorite music were western and oldies. She was very quite, loved her home and she enjoyed going shopping with her daughter Cristine. Their family recently had a surprise party for them to celebrate their 63rd wedding anniversary. Jessie is survived by her husband Pasqual Perez, sons, Arthur and wife Elen Perez, Sammy Perez, Pascual and wife Vera Perez, and Paul Perez, daughter Cristine and husband Manuel Cabrera; brothers, Manuel Gularte, Samuel Gularte, Hector Gularte; sister, Charlote Frimbres; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Jessie is preceded in death by her brothers, Frank Gularte and Joe Gularte, sister Mary Guerrero. A Graveside funeral service under the direction of Peters Funeral Home was held at Wasco Memorial Park on June 4, 2009 at 10 am for Jessie Luisa Perez, age 81 of Wasco, who passed away May 30, 2009 in Delano. Pastor Gilbert Morales was the officiant.
