Jesse Montesino passed away peacefully at his sister's home on December 6, surrounded by his loving family. Jesse Montesino was born on February 4, 1926 in Wasco, California to Alcadio and Clara Montesino. Jesse was raised in Wasco, attended Wasco elementary schools and Wasco Union High School with the Class of 1944. Jesse enlisted in the Army and served his country during World War II and was honorably discharged. Jesse's wife Mary preceded him in death in 1976. Jesse was an avid fan of San Francisco teams, the 49ers and Giants. He was also a member of the American Legion. Jesse Montesino is preceded in death by his wife Mary Montesino, five sisters, Inez, Nellie, Jennie and Mary. He is survived by his sister Lupe Aguerria and many loving and caring nieces and nephews. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at 6pm at Peters Funeral Home for Jesse Montesino, age 85, of Wasco, who passed away on December 6, 2011 in Wasco. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 16, 2011 at 10am at St. John's Catholic Church. Father John Fluetsch will officiate and interment will follow at Wasco Memorial Park.
