With deepest sorrow, we announce that Jerry Wayne Worthy, age 56, our beloved Partner, Son, family member and friend, passed away on June 15, 2020 at UCLA Ronald Reagan Hospital. Jerry was born October 11, 1963 to Bobbie and Roger Worthy in Wasco CA. Jerry is survived by Gilbert Reyna his partner of 14 years, Bakersfield, CA, Mother Bobbie Watkins Worthy, Shafter, CA, Father Roger Worthy, Payette, ID, and Sister Deana Gann, Bakersfield, CA, numerus Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, extended family members and treasured friends. Those who knew Jerry, even just a little lost a shining light in their lives. Jerry was born in Wasco, California and was raised in the Lost Hills/Wasco-Shafter area. Jerry attended Wasco Union High School, and graduated with the class of 1981. . He lived in Bakersfield most of his adult life with his partner. Jerry graduated from the University of Phoenix, and completed his Bachelor's Degree in Business/Accounting. Jerry will be missed dearly, we are thankful for all the great memories. We know that Jerry is now with his family that has gone before him and his beloved dog's Patty and Betty.
