Jerry Daniel McCaslin was raised on a small farm near the outskirts of Bakersfield where he learned the value of hard work within his family's multi-generational business of farming and trucking. It was here amongst the dirt and dust of the valley that he fell in love with the thrill of riding and racing dirt bikes. His love of dirt bikes and his faith in Jesus Christ led him to co-found a freestyle dirt bike ministry called Christian Motocross where he and his friends promoted the gospel with high flying dirt bike exhibitions in front of thousands of fans. When he wasn't jumping his dirt bike, he could be found strumming his guitar and writing songs and poetry. He was a thrill seeker as well as a poet. His wild adventures in life were a unique blend of light and darkness, struggles and success. He lived his life with a wide open attitude, which was often thrilling and sometimes troublesome. Now that the dust of the race of life has settled, Jerry has joined his dad and grandparents in the beautiful valley of heaven where the echoes of his exciting life will exist for all eternity.
