Javier was born February 9, 1974 in Delano, California to Aureliano and Angelina Rocha. He was raised in McFarland until his teenage years. He then moved to Wasco, California and he enjoyed spending the majority of his time with his family and friends. He had many hobbies, which he loved, including his most beautiful concrete art work, some of which he left unfinished until this day. Anyone who has known Javi will never forget his hearty personality and charitable character. Right now Javi is looking down on us riding the fastest motorcycle on an endless road in heaven. Although he never had any children of his own he loved the children of his friends and family as he would have loved his own. He loved art and going to Mexico, Javi brought pleasure to all those who knew him. He loved his work at Key Energy in Elk Hills and considered his co-workers part of his family. We all love him and miss him. Javier was preceded in death by his brother Gerardo, his grandparents Pedro and Maria Contreras, and Antonio and Rita Rocha. His is survived by his loving parents Aureliano and Angelina Rocha, his fiancé Esmeralda Garza, brothers and sisters Alicia Lopez, Armando Rocha, Blanca Maya, Filiberto Rocha, Maria Ayala, Sylvia Rodriguez, Rita Paredez, and Erica Bravo, 10 nieces, 18 nephews, 1 great niece, 1 great nephew and many family member and friends. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be Sunday, December 20, 2009 at 6-8 pm At Santa Elizabeth Catholic Church at E. Perkins Avenue, McFarland, CA, Vigil, will be held Sunday, December 20, 8:30 pm to 8 am at Hopes & Restoration Church, 1946 F. Street, Wasco, Ca. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held Monday, December 21, 2009 10 am at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church for Javier Rocha, age 35 who passed away December 13, 2009 and Interment will follow at North Kern Cemetery, Delano, California.
