Funeral services were conducted by Peters Funeral Home for Joshua Cail Ary, age 30, on Thursday, October 26, 2006, at 11am, at the Pentecostal Church of God, "Jesus Saves Church"; Pastor Steve Seymour officiated. Interment followed at Shafter Memorial Park. Casket bearers were Jarett Ary, Justin Ary, James Ary, Robert Smith, Joe Smith and Anthony Cordova. Joshua was born in Bakersfield to Michael and Carol Ary on April 18, 1976. He graduated from Shafter High School. He had worked as a mason and at the time of his death he was working as a laborer in the agriculture acidizing crops . Joshua liked all kinds of animals and loved hunting and fishing. He also liked "Working his chickens". Joshua was also an excellent cook and enjoyed it very much, as well as a great Barbequer. Joshua was a wonderful father and enjoyed spending time with his kids and family. Joshua was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ellen E. Crane and aunt, Paula L. Sage. He is survived by his mother, Carol Ary; grandparents, Al and Darlene Platnick; wife, Sara A. Ary; daughters, Kori A., Alexis, Mikaela and Jaylin Ary all of Shafter; brothers, Jarrett Michael Ary, Justin Cain Ary, James Christopher Paul Ary, and Robert Smith; and Anthony Cordova godfather to Kori.
