Our precious mother, Janie Faye Ferrell-Colbert, age 80, passed from this earth to paradise on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Bakersfield Heart Hospital. Momma devoted her life to her children, her grandchildren and her great grandchildren, of which there are many many many! Always with unconditional love this truly amazing woman was involved with all of our lives.

Those whose lives she touched already know she was a strong, independent, feisty and most beautiful woman.

She leaves behind five daughters and a son:

Daughter Glenda and son in law Michael Pitcairn of Kern County, CA

Daughter Mona and son in law Rick Sturgeon of Lonoke County. AR

Daughter Donna Gray of Kern County, CA

Son Raymond Ferrell, Jr. of Arkansas

Daughter Teresa Dawson of Kern County, CA

Daughter Christina Colbert of Kern County, CA

Janie was a warrior woman, raised up hard in Southern Arkansas, her vivacious personality, loving spirit and deep determination and success in her life was and is nothing short of amazing.
