James (Jim) Paul Weddington, 85, passed from this life on Thursday, December 12, 2019, at his home in Shafter, California. Weddington was born on February 17, 1934 in Miami, Ottawa County, Oklahoma to Frank Odom Weddington and Inez Edmondson Weddington. He moved as an infant to the Golden, Missouri area. Around the age of 10, James and his parents moved to Caldwell, Idaho. He honorably served in the United States Army from May 31, 1957 to May 29, 1959. After his discharge, he moved to Shafter, California, where he resided with his parents. No immediate family survives. Peters Funeral Home, Shafter, handled the cremation arrangements.
