On December 7, 2021, James Dean Taylor, beloved son, father and grandfather passed away of natural causes. James was born November 29, 1936 to George William Taylor and Cuma Taylor Yowell, in Shafter, CA. James is survived by his son, Jay Allen Taylor (Dena) and grandchildren, Jordan Taylor (Matthew), and Matthew Reed Taylor, and son, James Lee Taylor (Kelly) and grandchildren, Ashley Comer (John), great- grandchildren, Jackson and Jace Comer and Joshua Taylor Jr. James is preceded in death by brothers, Jack Dial, Harold Dial, Robert Dial, Fred Hutchison and Bill Taylor, and grandson, Joshua Taylor. James was a big fan of classic cars, especially American muscle cars and an avid collector of rare and not so rare coins. He loved his sons, his daughters-in-law, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. James was proud of his military service which included two tours of Vietnam. He was a retired U.S. Air Force Master Sergeant, who ironically didn't like to fly, so almost every summer he would drive to Seattle or Maryland to visit his sons and their families.
