James Carol Strange was born in Lawton, Oklahoma on June 9, 1948 to Sammie Carol & Ruth Lenora (Hammers) Strange. James was business owner of a computer technical support company for 20 years. He served his country proudly in the Navy and also enjoyed spending time on the golf course. James Strange was 64 old when he passed away in his sleep on April 8, 2013 in Bakersfield, California. James is survived by his brothers Frankie Strange, Roger Strange, & Terry Strange; his daughter Christina and husband Daniel Rivera; his two grandchildren Alexandra and Juliana. He is preceded in death by his wife Rosemary who passed away in 2001. A Graveside service was held at Shafter Memorial Park on Friday April 12, 2013 at 2pm.
