James Leeroy Stallman April 25, 1958 - January 5, 2007 James Leeroy Stallman was born April 25, 1958 in Bakersfield, California to Leonard Ray & Nellie Faye (Willingham) Stallman. He was a life-long resident of Wasco and worked doing recycling, cleaning and other jobs with Kern Regional Center. He married Marlinda Louise Thomason. James enjoyed riding his bike and collecting cans. He was survived by his wife of 17 years, Marlinda Stallman; brothers, Leonard Ray Stallman, Jr. & wife Gina of Bridge City, Texas, Richard Lee Stallman & wife Marcelina of Wasco, Elton Jay Stallman & wife Bridget of Liberty, Texas; sisters, Rose Elaine Harris & husband Thomas of Marana, Arizona and Virginia Faye Green & husband Jonathan of Dayton, Texas; aunt, Joyce Stallman and uncles, Robert Stallman and Larry Willingham. James was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Clarence Ray Stallman and Kenneth Lee Stallman. A graveside funeral service for James, who passed away in Bakersfield on January 5th, at the age of 48, was held Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at 9am at Wasco Memorial Park. Pastor James Wheeler of Grace Community Church officiated the service and interment followed at Wasco Memorial Park. A visitation was held Monday, January 8 from 2pm-8pm at Peters Funeral Home.
