Visitation for James was held at Arvin Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 8, 2011, from 5 to 8 pm. A 2:00 pm Graveside Service was held at South Kern Cemetery District, Arvin, CA, Wednesday, February 9, 2011. James was born in Hugo, Oklahoma, and was a resident of Arvin, California. James was preceded in death by his father Lawrence Epperson, mother Mamie Gray; brothers Maurice, Robert and Luther Epperson; sister Wanda Flanagan. He is survived by his sister Virginia Bivins and her husband Joe of Arvin; Daughter Jamie Epperson and three grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. James, you have left an impression on everyone you have met, you will be missed and not forgotten. WE LOVE YOU.........
