James Franklin Dick was born December 29, 1924 in Los Angeles, California to Dietrich and Justina Dick and went to be with his Savior, Jesus, on October 5, 2015. Jim had an older brother Vernon, has a sister Marge and younger brother Don. His family lived and farmed in the Dinuba, CA area. He graduated from Dinuba High School in 1943. He met Florence Bartell in Fresno, CA and they fell in love and married on September 12, 1947 in Bakersfield, CA. They were blessed with a daughter Judy and a son Ken. Jim is survived by his daughter, Judy and husband Chet Pohle; son, Ken Dereck and wife Diana; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015 at 11:00am at Rosedale Bible Church in Bakersfield. He is preceded in death by his wife Florence Dick.
