James Neal Couch was born in Bakersfield, California on September 24, 1953 to parents Arvel Couch and Mildred (King) Couch. Known as "Baby Neal" by many, James joined the Navy after High School and shortly after owned Couch Potato Video. He worked for Save Mart for many years. James enjoyed karaoke with his friends and family. He was a sports enthusiast who was involved with Wasco Little League. His family remembers his tradition of watching Monday night Raw every week. When James was not watching wrestling; he was watching the Miami Dolphins and would often be caught on his tablet. James entered eternal life on March 2, 2017 in Bakersfield, Ca surrounded by his loved ones. James is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Isabel Couch; children, Priscilla Rochelle, Angeletta Couch, Anissah Couch, Michelle Gereke, Jennifer Kelley, Melissa Martinez, Travis Couch, Brandon "JuJu" Couch, Michael Angel, Vincent Angel, Jason Angel; sister, Regina Criner (Tony); brothers, Elton Couch (Dana), Jerry Couch (Brenda), Thomas Couch (Terry) ; many grandchildren and one great granddaughter. He is preceded in death by his parents Arvel and Mildred Couch; nephew, Cobyn; several uncles and aunts. A Funeral service was officiated by Tyler Criner Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 2pm at Peters Funeral Home in Wasco. A viewing was held Tuesday, March 7, 2017 from 10am -1pm.
