Obituary

James A Cole was born on Oct.22, 1946 in Waco,Texas to C. C. and Bertie Cole. James was

one of six children and always wanted a big family. He loved spending time with his family and

became a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at a young age. He

moved to California from Texas as a young adult and not too long after met his first wife Barbara

Ann Bradford they were married on April fools day 1969 until her death in 2004.They always

had a joke about not being married; it never got old with them. He wanted a big family and got it

when he married Barbara. He became a father at marriage to Barbara's two girls Jody Sharrock

and Rebecca Morales and finally a father to Chad Edward Cole in November 1982, such a

happy day for him nothing could bring him down. He worked for over 35 years at Superior

Farms and Grimmway Farms in agriculture. He was a hard worker that always provided for the

crowd of people that was always at his home and never complained about it. James loved the

outdoors, loved riding bikes with his son Chad, his grandkids, nieces and nephews, and the rest

of the neighborhood. He was just like a big kid and enjoyed having fun outside. He volunteered

his time at Church, food banks, and whatever else people needed help with.He enjoyed going to

little league games, school plays he was there at graduations and Birthdays. His favorite pastime

was fishing; you could not get to the lake too early for him. James was married again to Sherri

Lou Morales and they spent 14+ years running around until she passed away 30 days before

James. Once again James found the role of step dad to Bradley Morales they loved trips to visit

his family in the midwest as well as trips to Oregon to visit his best friend Leroy Archer.James
