James Paul Blan | James Paul Blan 1941 - 2011 James Paul Blan was born November 16, 1941 in Ventura, CA to James Willie and Lois McIntosh Blan. Paul died on September 22, 2011. Paul was preceded in death by both parents, one sister and one brother. Paul is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ruby Blan; one son, David Blan and wife,Lori, of Arroyo Grande, CA; three daughters: Sue and husband, Greg Puskarich, Sandi and husband, Kenneth Ellington, and Cindy and husband, Jonathan Mullings,all of Bakersfield, CA; eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Paul is also survived by two sisters, Veta and husband, David Underwood, Nina Franze and one brother, Roger Blan. Paul loved being with his family, bowling and motorcycle riding. He will be greatly missed by a host of friends. Viewing will be Sunday, September 25th, from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. and memorial service Monday, September 26th, at 9:30 a.m. both at Truth Tabernacle, 214 Hosking Ave., Bakersfield, CA. Interment following at Arvin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Truth Tabernacle Building Fund.
