Jaime was born to parents Joaquin and Alicia Vasquez in San Francisco, CA on January 25, 1966. Jaime moved to Bakersfield with his family at the age of 8 and attended Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic School. Jaime then graduated from Bakersfield High School in 1985. On June 15, 2002 Jaime married his wife Adaly in San Salvador, El Salvador. He worked as a chef for numerous restaurants in Bakersfield, El Salvador, and Cayucos even becoming as sushi chef along the way. In 2004 Jaime started his own business, a janitorial service in Cayucos called Vasquez Janitorial. Jaime enjoyed martial arts, surfing, cooking and riding his motorcycle. Jaime often said that his biggest joy in life was spending time with his wife and sons; he felt that he had waited his whole life to start his own family, and he felt tremendously blessed by those closest to him. He also enjoyed socializing with all his friends. Jaime was a participating Lions Club member in Cayucos. Jaime is survived by his loving wife, Adaly; sons, IanCarlo and Kevin Justin Vasquez; his mother, Alicia Vazquez; bothers, Joaquin and wife Elena Vasquez, Claudio Vasquez, Nelson and wife Stacy Vasquez and Edwin and wife Leticia Vasquez, mother-in-law, Ruth Violante; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He has family in Queretaro Mexico, San Salvador El Salvador, San Francisco CA, and Oakland Bay area, Sorrento, CA, San Diego, CA and Las Vegas, NV. Jaime is preceded in death by his father, Joaquin Vasquez Sr.; grandmother, Trinidad Guerrero; aunt-in-law, Alicia Padilla Violante; and grandfather-in-law, Francisco Violante. A Funeral Mass for Jaime has been scheduled for, Tuesday, July 29, 2008 beginning at, 10am, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
