19/2010Jacqlyn Jessica Reyes was born December 15, 1987 to Yvonne Ponce and John Reyes in Amarillo, TX. When she was an infant the family moved to Shafter and she has been a resident for the last 20 years. Jacqlyn was lovingly taken care of by her grandmother Angela Heredia, who took her shoe shopping and on daily rides in the car which she enjoyed. Jacqlyn is survived by grandmother, Angela Heredia; father, John Reyes; and brothers, John Paul Jr., and Shane. A funeral service for Jacqlyn Jessica Reyes, age 22, of Shafter who passed away February 19, 2010 in Bakersfield will be held at the Covenant Life Church of God, 18473 Shafter Ave at 1pm Friday February 26. Pastor Boyd Shepherd will officiate the service and interment will follow at Shafter Memorial Park. A visitation will be held at Peters Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 23 from 2-8pm.
