IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jacob Tyler
Robertson
July 11, 1998 – November 26, 2022
A beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend, Jacob Tyler Robertson was born to Guy and Gracie
Robertson along with his twin brother Joshua Kyler on July 11, 1998, in Bakersfield, Ca. and tragically left us on
November 26, 2022. Jake was in the graduation class of 2017 at Liberty High School. As a young boy, he enjoyed
playing soccer and football as he was happiest playing alongside his brother Josh with his parents and family
cheering for him in the stands. He loved working alongside his father and brother at their family business where
he built connections and friendships with coworkers and peers. Jake was a very loving and caring person who had
a big heart for his family. He loved going on trips with his family and friends, especially going to Pismo for spring
break. He dearly loved his grandparents where he learned to love camping, the outdoors, and their cooking. Jacob
had a strong bond with his brother, cousins, and friends and shared countless memories. He cared about others
and made people feel loved and welcome, his energy and spirit would light up the room and will continue to live
on.
Mother Teresa wrote:
You will teach them to fly, but they will not fly your flight.
You will teach them to dream, but they will not dream your dream.
You will teach them to live, but they will not live your life.
Nevertheless, in every flight, in every dream, in every life, the print of the way you taught them
will remain.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Proverbs 8:5
Jacob is leaving behind his parents Guy and Gracie Robertson, twin brother Joshua Robertson, his grandparents
Nana Rita and Papa David Medina, his Nana Dottie Story, Uncle David and Cheryl Medina, Uncle Robert
Medina, Aunt Rochelle Howard, Aunt Nia and Steve Hunt, and many loving cousins and friends. He will be
deeply missed and will forever be in our hearts and prayers.
