Isidro Obregon Lara was born August 1, 1934 in Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Juana and Refugio Lara. Isidro married Maria (Rangel) Lara and had 10 children. He worked as a farm laborer for 55 years. Isidro is preceded in death by his parents, Refugio and Juana Lara, son, Jose Lara (1990). He is survived by his sons; Severiano Lara, Rupest Lara, Mariano Lara of Wasco, and Julian Lara of Bakersfield, daughters, Bertha Vargas, Gracie Yerena, Mercedes Lara, Fidelia Duenas, Isidra Hernandez all of them of Wasco, 19 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held Thursday, December 17, 2009 at 6 pm at Peters Funeral Home for Isidro Obregon Lara, age 75, of Wasco, who passed away December 16, 2009. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, December 18, 2009 at 10 am at St. John's Catholic Church. Father John Fluetsch will be officiating and interment will follow at Wasco Memorial Park. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2009 from 2-8 pm at Peters Funeral Home.
