Isabelle G. Arreola was born in Mexico, on December 30, 1918 to Maria (Lugo) and Anatacio Gallegos. In 1937 Isabelle married Pedro Arreola in Shafter where they raised their five children. She attended to family over the course of her life as a homemaker; ready to take charge, no matter how small or large the task. Isabelle faithfully attended church with a passion to volunteer whenever needed. She enjoyed listening to Lawrence Welk music. Her family will miss the love that knitted them together. Isabelle is preceded in death by her husband of nearly 60 years, Pedro Arreola (1996) son, Richard (1998) and daughter Esther (1941). Surviving family members include sons John, Al, and Frank Arreola; 11 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Mass of the Resurrection will be held for Isabelle G. Arreola, age 90 who passed away in Las Vegas, Saturday, November 7, 2009 – 1pm at St. Therese's Catholic Church. Visitation will be Friday November 6, 2009 from 2 to 8pm, with a 7pm Rosary at Peters Funeral Home in Shafter.
