Isabel Sanchez was born February 20, 1939 in Delano, California to Ysabel Zertuche Villescas and Ramon Q. Villescas. She attended the local schools in McFarland. Isabel and Salvador Sanchez were life-long residents of Wasco. Many in Wasco knew Isabel because of her 20 plus years working in farm labor and church family at Westside Family Fellowship. Isabel was compassionate, loving, and a generous person. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, cooking, she loved painting angels and doing crafts and gallivanting to many places (BEACH). Isabel loved her children and grandchildren who will miss her greatly. Isabel is preceded in death by her husband, Salvador Sanchez 1997. She is survived by sons; Salvador Sanchez, Jr. and wife Veronica Sanchez, Raul Sanchez and wife Phyllis Sanchez, and Vicente Sanchez; daughters, Isabel Navarro and husband Rosario Navarro, Mary Ann Gomez and husband Johnnie Gomez, Rozanna Hernandez, 13 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren many other loving family member and friends. Viewing will be recited Monday, January 26 at 8:00am-10:00am. Funeral services at 10:00am at Westside Family Fellowship in Wasco and Christian Burial will be following funeral service, officiated by Pastor John Ross at the Wasco Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 25 from 2-5pm at Peters Funeral Home Wasco.
