Irma Venegas Tamayo affectionately known as "Ma Irma", entered eternal life on December 4, 2020 in Delano. Irma was born in Jalisco, Mexico and was the third of seven children. She got married and shortly after moved to the United States, where she had and raised her children. Ma Irma was a devout Catholic whose heart radiated with love for everyone. Her home was always surrounded by people who loved her whether they were there physically or displayed in one of the many pictures she had throughout her home. Ma Irma's home was welcoming and surrounded by love. Her visitors were often children and people who considered Ma Irma their mother figure. Her love for music and vibrant personality filled any room with joy. She often enjoyed trips to the casino and playing bingo with friends and family. Above all, Ma Irma was the epitome of a loving, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, sister, and friend to all who knew her. Ma Irma's memory will live on in the hearts she touched. She will be greatly missed and loved. Ma Irma is survived by her daughters, Hilda Tamayo, Veronica Tamayo, Cindy Tamayo; son, Sergio Tamayo; sisters, Rosario Lopez, Barbara Venegas; brothers, Joel Venegas, Raul Venegas; grandchildren, Nicole, Karina, Jose Jesus, Laura, Amanda, Jose Luis, Jeanette, Anthony, Isabel, Benny, Jacob, Veronica; great- grandchildren, Hannah, Abigail, Riley, Adrian, Emma, Ariel, Adison, Sara; many nieces, nephews, godchildren, friends and family. She is preceded in death by her parents Jose and Angela Venegas; son, Jose Jesus Tamayo Jr.; sister, Maria Elena Robledo; brother, Manuel Beltran. Irma Venegas Tamayo conocida cariñosamente como "Ma Irma", entró en la vida eterna el 4 de diciembre de 2020 en Delano. Irma nació en Jalisco, México y fue la tercer de siete hijos. Se casó y poco después se mudó a los Estados Unidos, donde tuvo y crió a sus hijos. Ma Irma era una católica devota cuyo corazón irradiaba amor por todos.
