IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Irineo O.
Flores
June 28, 1932 – June 11, 2012
Irineo O. Flores was born in San Antonio, Texas on June 28, 1932, to parents Senon and Delfina (Oliva) Flores. Irineo married Norma (Lopez) Flores in Shafter in 1975. He worked as a truck driver and mechanic for various employers throughout California. He lived in Delano for part of his life, and also in Lost Hills for a couple of years, but primarily he was a Shafter resident. Irineo was a social man, and he liked talking to others, especially to share his stories. He was quite the gardener, but he also liked to get out of the house, and he always enjoyed going to the local casinos. Irineo is survived by his wife, Norma; his sons, Juan, Danilo, Eduardo, Armando, Julio and Orlando; his daughters, Norma, Claudia, Elba and Chantal; his grandchildren, Jasmine, Yvette, Giselel, Darrien, Didyann, Danette, Davian, D'Alannis, Dominique, Marisa, Marquise, Eddie Jr., Dayanara, D'Alessio, Vincente, Michelle, Jesus, Destiny, Devonie, and Alessandra; and one great grandson, David. A viewing for Irineo was held at Peters Funeral Home on Monday, June 18, 2012 from 2-8pm. A graveside service was held at Shafter Memorial Park on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 11am; Pastor Joel Reynoso of the Miel Church in Bakersfield officiated the service.
