Irene was born December 14, 1930 in McIntosh County, Oklahoma to Plez and Sina Fairchild. She passed away November 12, 2017 in Bakersfield, California. She came to California in 1949 and married Robert Wilson in 1951. After Robert passed away she met and married Paul Deshields. Irene had 6 children, Michael Wilson, Donald Joe Wilson (deceased), Patsy Irene Webb (deceased), Bobby Dale Wilson (deceased), Thomas Lynn Wilson (deceased) and Sheila Torres. 21 Grandchildren, 40 Great grandchildren and 5 Great Great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. She worked in agriculture for most of her life Irene loved to go to the casinos and play bingo. She loved cooking, Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner. She loved having her children, family and friends over. She lived for her children. Visitation is Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 4-8pm at Peters Funeral Home, Shafter Funeral Service is Friday, November 17, 2017 at 10am at Peters Funeral Home, Shafter.
