Irene Gonzalez Rodriguez was born in Sacramento, California on November 5, 1958 to Victor M. and Juanita (Venegas) Gonzalez. Irene was married to Domingo Rodriguez and together they raised their three children in Wasco, California. She was an office clerk for the local Insurance office for 30 years. Irene was a wonderful mother and loved her family with all her heart. She enjoyed her moments with her family especially her nieces and nephews who she was like a second mom too. Irene passed away on August 31, 2015 in Bakersfield, California. She is survived by her husband of 24 years Domingo; daughter Elizabeth (Arnulfo) Reyna; sons Steven (Kacie) and Victor (Brittany) Rodriguez; grandchildren A.J., Yaya, Lexie, Anthony, Riley, Jayden, McKenzie and Kali; brothers Arthur, Raul (Sandra) and Joey (Maria) Gonzalez; sister Mary (Ralph) Macias; many nieces and nephews. Irene is preceded in death by her parents Victor and Juanita Gonzalez and sister Carmen Gonzalez. A Mass of Christian Burial was officiated by Father Raul A. Sanchez Flores on Saturday September 5, 2015 at St. John's Catholic Church at 8am followed by burial at Wasco Memorial Park preceded by viewing on Friday September 4, 2015 from 4-8pm at Peters Funeral Home Chapel in Wasco, CA.
