Ima Shay who was born July 16, 1908 Ima Shay was born in Oklahoma on July 16, 1908, in Marlow Oklahoma to John Edward Hall and Mamie (Guest) Hall; she passed away quietly on July 7, 2010 in Shafter CA. Ima married the love of her life Walter in Oklahoma in 1924. As a homemaker she enjoyed taking care of her family; some of her favorite hobbies were working cross word puzzles, embroidering and reading novels. She was a member of the Baptist Church in Lake Isabella where she was well known. Ima was a great Mother in law who enjoyed conversing with her family. She is survived by her daughter in law Mary Shay. Ima Shay was interred at Shafter Memorial Park on July 12, 2010 at the age of 101.
