Hugo Alberto Marquez, was born in Fresno, California on February 23, 1974 to Juan and Elva Marquez. Hugo attended Wasco High School with the Class of 1992. He played sports in high school, both football and baseball and continued to enjoy watching those sports on TV. His hobbies were drawing portraits, using charcoal and pencil and working out. Family was important to Hugo, he loved his children, spending time with them and his nieces and nephews; and family times gathering together and eating tamales. Hugo Alberto Marquez is survived by his children, Hugo Jr, and Matthew Camargo; brother, Juan Marquez, Jr.; sisters, Gabby LaRue and husband Mike, Claudia Garcia and husband Sergio, and Mercedes Marquez and husband Eduardo Tellez, all of Wasco. Recitation of the Holy Rosary was held on Sunday, June 17, 2012 at 6:30pm at Peters Funeral Home for Hugo Alberto Marquez, age 38, of Wasco, who passed on June 10, 2012 in La Joya, Texas. A Funeral Mass was said on Monday, June 18, 2012 at 10am at St. John's Catholic Church. Father John Fluetsch officiated and interment followed at Wasco Memorial Park. Visitation was held on Sunday, June 17, 2012 at Peters Funeral Home from 2-8pm. Hugo Alberto Marquez, nació en Fresno, California el 23 de febrero de 1974 a Juan y Elva Marquez. La familia ere muy importante para Hugo, quería mucho sus hijos, y le gustaba compartir tiempo con ellos y sus sobrinos y sobrinas; también le gustaba juntarse con la familia y comer ricos tamales. Hugo Alberto Marquez, le sobreviven sus hijos, Hugo Jr, y Matthew Camargo; hermano Juan Marquez, Jr.; hermanas, Gabby LaRue y esposo Mike, Claudia Garcia y esposo Sergio, Mercedes Maquez y esposo Eduardo Telles, todos de Wasco. El Santo Rosario fue recitado el Domingo, 17 de junio 2012 a las 6:30pm en Capilla de la Casa Funeraria Peters para Hugo Alberto Marquez, de 38 años, de Wasco, quien falleció el 10 de junio, 2012 en la Joya, Texas. Misa de cuerpo presente fue celebrada el Lunes, 18 de junio, 2012 a las 10ª, en la Iglesia Católica de San Juan. Padre John Fluetsch oficio la misa y el entierro fue inmediatamente en el Cementerio Memorial de Wasco. El Velorio fue el Domingo, 17 de junio, 2012 en la Casa Funeraria Peters de 2-8pm.
