In loving memory of Howard Van Hoozen most known as ( H.E ), who passed away at the age of 67, on February 5, 2007. Howard was born in Sayre, Oklahoma, to Howard Sr. and Ruby Van Hoozen. His enjoyed cooking and making up his own recipes as he went along, he loved going to the casinos, he always said he had a system for winning but never found it. He loved to fish and he loved his beer and smokes. Some say he was the life of the party he will be missed more than anyone will ever know. Howard was preceded in death by his son, Michael Van Hoozen. He is survived by long time companion of 24 years, Georgette Studdard of Shafter; his children, Rodney Van Hoozen and companion, Charolette Cooke, and their son, Kevin Van Hoozen of Arkansas; daughter, Regina Van Hoozen, and her children, Wendy, Rebecca and Danny of Lamont; Son, Howard Van Hoozen, and his children, Howard and Katheran of Lamont; son, Kevin Van Hoozen, and his children, Michael and Mathew of Lamont; three great grandchildren; numerous, nephews and nieces; brother, Clyde Van Hoozen and wife, Jeanie of Bakersfield; sister, Faye and husband, Jack Meyers of South Dakota; sister, Patsy and husband, Willie Durret of Winchester, California; sister, Geneva Threlkeld of Winchester, California; numerous friends and family. Funeral services under the direction of Peters Funeral Home were conducted for Howard Willie Van Hoozen, II. A memorial service was held at Shafter Free Will Baptist Church on Saturday, February 10, 2007, at 11am.
