A graveside service was conducted by Peters Funeral Home for Hervey Lee Andrews, age 67, on Thursday, November 16, 2006, at 10am. Pastor Mike Falzarano of the Seventh Day Adventist Church officiated at the service. Interment followed at Shafter Memorial Park. Hervey was born in Cleveland, Arkansas, to Hobert and Leona Andrews. He came to Wasco in 1955, and married Kerin in Wasco, on November 15, 1957. He was a welder by trade and recently was owner/operator of WAHE Welding Services serving Kern County. Hervey is survived by his wife, Kerin; son, Shawn and wife, Carole Andrews; daughter, Sharlott Andrews Phipps and companion, Kerry Hawkins; 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
