Henry Z. Villescas was born June 10, 1943 in Delano, California to Ysabel (Zertuchi) and Ramon Villescas. He grew up in McFarland and was active with the Wasco Orthopedically Exceptional School. He had many friends who came to visit with him at his home before he moved to Norwalk. All his friends knew him as "Chiro". He was preceded in death by his parents, Ramon and Ysabel; brothers, Paul Chavez, Cresencio Rodriguez, Silverio Rodriquez, Edward Rodriguez, Edward Rodriguez and Delores Rodriguez; sisters, Elvira Gamboa and Sara Lujan. He is survived by his sisters, Isabel Sanchez, Anita Escobedo, Ramona Lopez and Frances Rangel; and many nieces, nephews and other family members. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at 11am at Peters Funeral Home, Wasco for Henry Zertuchi Villescas, age 66, who passed away September 22, 2009 in Brea, California. Interment will be at North Kern Cemetery, Delano at 1pm. Visitation will be start at 9am.
