Helen Marie (Hulsey) Rogers was born in Wasco, California on October 24, 1944 to parents, Matt and Esta Hulsey. She attended school in Wasco and graduated from Wasco High in 1962. Just a few months later Helen married the love of her life, Royce Rogers, at a ceremony in Bakersfield, California on September 21, 1962. She worked as a bookkeeper for businesses throughout the Wasco area; most of her career was spent working at the office Mark Albert, CPA. Helen was always fond of numbers and puzzle games, she also enjoyed watching game shows and craft sewing, or spending time tending to her garden and showing off some of her garden decorations. Her biggest joy was spending as much time as she could with her grandchildren. Helen was a loyal and loving family woman; she was genuine and caring, quite often putting others before herself. She will be dearly missed. Helen is survived by her husband of 54 years, Royce Rogers; and their children, Tony Rogers and wife Janet, Danny Rogers and wife Teresa, Jeannie Roark, and Wes Rogers and wife Shelly; their grandchildren, Seth, KaCee, Ryan, Savannah, Matthew, Johnathan, Emily, Megan, Anna Rose, Jennifer, Robert, William, Jeffery, Libby, Emma, Sam and Bryan; 7 great grandchildren; and her siblings, Joyce Spanel and Mac Hulsey. She was preceded in death by her parents, Matt and Esta Hulsey; and siblings, Nellie, Kittie, Bernice, J.D., Tommy and Nina.
