Helen M. Geeslin, age 100, died Feb. 19, 2009, in continuing care of heart failure. Mrs. Geeslin was born in Boston, Mass., on Nov. 16, 1908, and was a 29-year resident of Yucca Valley. She worked as a librarian at Norton Air Force Base before her retirement and belonged to the Audobon Society. Mrs. Geeslin was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, William, her brother, her sister and her parents. He is survived by her stepson and his wife, Clyde and Donna Geeslin of Yucca Valley; her stepdaughter, Diane Acosta of San Bernardino; nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 25 great-great-grandchildren. Services will be private.
