Hector Garza August 21, 1954 - June30, 2011 Hector Garza has gone home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; born August 21, 1954, the fifth of eleven children born to Margarita and Eustacio Garza. He was 4 years old when he came to Kern County, attending McFarland High School thru 1971. Hector was a devout Christian until his dying day. Hector is preceded in death by both his parents; surviving family includes brothers Horacio, Alejo, Luis and Homer Garza; sisters Minerva Pedraza, Rosie Garza, Mary Bangi and Margaret Perez; numerous nieces and nephews; a large extended family, many friends and acquaintances who will miss him dearly. 10 am Mass of the Resurrection will be officiated by Father John Fluesch at St. John's Catholic Church in Wasco on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 with interment immediately following at Wasco Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at Peters Funeral Home (Wasco) from 5 to 8pm with Rosary Recitation at 7pm.
