Hazel Evora Gould was born in Stigler, Oklahoma on January 22, 1928 to Bill & Ella (Gilstrap) Rose. Hazel earned her nursing degree and was a Registered Nurse for 30 years. She worked as an Intensive Care Manager and was completely dedicated to her patients' care. She married Earl C. Gould in 1945 and raised three children Jerry, Greg and Cindy. She served as a pastor's wife in Merced, Wasco and Silmar, where she did God's work and attended to those in need. She loved the mountains, fishing and hunting. Hazel enjoyed music, planting and working in her yard. Hazel Gould was 85 years old when she passed away on May 16, 2013 in Shafter, California. Hazel is survived by her husband of 68 years Earl C. Gould, her sons Jerry Gould and wife Linda, daughter Cindy and husband Tony Barcellos; four grand children Robin Hallum, Marty Gould, Jessica Barcellos and Cody Gould; three great grandchildren Cole, Brock, and Drew Hallum. Hazel was preceded in death by her son Greg Gould who passed away in 1999. A Graveside service was held at Shafter Memorial Park on Wednesday May 22, 2013 at 10am.
