Guadalupe "Lupita" Rodríguez, was born on January 28th, 1958 in Brownsville, Texas to Conrado & Herminia Rodriguez. Growing up being the oldest of eight children, Lupe was the babysitter for her younger siblings and worked with her parents in farm labor. Lupe was always ready and available to take her parents to their doctor's appointments when needed and she provided physical care for them until they went to be with the lord. Lupe enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, whom she loved so much. She enjoyed her tradition in making tamales for her grandchildren at Christmas time. She loved to listen to music, play the guitar and sing. She enjoyed thrifting & going to yard sales. Her favorite place to shop was goodwill, she always found hidden treasures there. She also liked to travel and enjoyed dolling herself up. On September 1, 2020 Lupe went on to be with the Lord. She is now in heaven rejoicing alongside her parents, Conrado & Herminia. Along with her siblings, Eduardo, Maria Elena and Daniel. Guadalupe is survived by her siblings Oralia, Dalia, Rosalinda and Fermin. Her children, Jose Luis, Herminia, Alberto, Guillermo, Raul, and Issac. 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. As well as many nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends.
