Gregory R. Tate was born on September 2, 1972 in Tehachapi, California to Kenneth Tate and Paulette (Jones) Tate. Gregory was raised in Mojave, California; where he attended the local schools. He participated in many outdoor activities, which included riding dirt bikes and football. Greg loved football especially the Oakland Raiders. He dedicated his time to watching the Oakland Raiders play football and celebrated every victory with the rest of the Raider Nation. Greg was fluent in Spanish and enjoyed listening to Spanish music. Gregory was 42 years old when he passed away on November 25, 2014 in Lancaster, California. Greg is survived by his wife; Melissa Tate; parents; Kenneth and Paulette Tate; Sons; Gregory Tate Jr., and Kenny Tate; Daughters; Brittney Tate, and Karina Tate; Brothers; Kenny (Stephanie) Tate, James (Catherine) Tate, and Jeremy Tate; Sisters; Lea Tate and McKinze Tate; grandchildren; Madeleine Lizama, and Yarimar Tate. He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Juanita Jones, James R. Jones, Clifford Tate and Fairy Tate. A graveside service was officiated by Charles Jester Tuesday, December 3, 2014 at 2pm at Arvin Cemetery. A visitation was held Tuesday, December 2, 2014 from 11am- 2pm at Arvin Funeral home Chapel.
