Gregory Scott Nigh Gregory Scott Nigh, who lived in California and Yucca Valley for one year, died June 18, 2010, due to an accident. He was 57 years old. The son of Glenn Nigh and Phyllis (Amundsen) Nigh, he was born July 20, 1952, at Madigan Army Hospital in Tacoma, Wash. Mr. Nigh was a Wal-Mart associate for one year. He was a member of Joshua Springs Calvary Chapel. A motorcycle enthusiast, he belonged to the Auburn Valley Wings Chapter V. He enjoyed golfing, stained glass and spending time with his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Nigh. He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Donna Nigh of Yucca Valley; mother Phyllis Nigh of University Place, Wash.; brother Kris Nigh of Seattle, Wash.; sister Tracy Nigh of Tacoma, Wash.; brother Mark Nigh of University Place, Wash.; brother Glenn Nigh; many loving children; and seven grandchildren. A service will be held at 10 a.m. June 26 at Joshua Springs Calvary Chapel, with Bob Jarrard officiating. In lieu of flowers, his family asks that memorial donations be made to the Morongo Basin Humane Society (Joshua Tree shelter).
