Gregory J. Cole was born in Bakersfield, California, on August 21, 1960 to Doyle and Jessie (Elmore) Cole. He was raised in Shafter and attended Shafter High School. Greg served hi s country proudly in the Navy. He was married to Christine L. Ott for 23 years and raised their 5 children together. Greg worked in the oil field as a Superintendent for 30 years. He was 52 old when he passed away on July 12, 2013 in Bakersfield, California. Greg is survived by his wife Christine; his children Dustin Cole, Desiree Cole, Brandy Sides, Daneal Cole, and Danielle Cole; his three grandchildren Sidney, Landon and Cayden; and his mother Jessie Cole. He is preceded in death by his father Doyle Cole and grandmother Margie Elmore. A memorial service is scheduled at the Valley Bible Church of Shafter on Friday, July 19th at 11am.
