Goldie Wanda (Fenton) Little February 23, 1923 - November 12, 2011 Goldie Little, beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Great Great Grandmother, passed away peacefully Saturday, November 12, 2011 at the Golden Living Center in Shafter, CA. Goldie was born in Stigler, OK on February 23, 1923 to her parents, Flora Lee and John Elijah Fenton. She had four brothers and seven sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Bill, Ernest, Coy and Floyd; sisters Savanna, Esther, Ida Mae, Lauretta and Neoma; and her son, Rick Conard; and grandson, Christopher Conard. She is survived by her brother, Doy; and sisters, Mary and Barbara; and sister in-law, Ethae Mae Fenton. Goldie is survived by her children, William Conard of Bakersfield, CA, Wesley Little and Mike Little of Caruthers, CA and Janet Coyle of Chesapeake, VA; three daughters-in-law: Ann Conard, Irene Little and Shelley Little; and son-in-law, Dan Coyle. Goldie was a Grandmother of 13, Great Grandmother of 22 and Great Great Grandmother of 2, she is also survived by her numerous nieces and nephews. Goldie devoted her entire life to her family. Goldie retired in 1993 from Fresno County School System as a Dietitian at Raisin City, CA Elementary School. Her leisure years were spent cooking, sewing and taking care of her family. She enjoyed traveling to various parts of the United States with her family and friends and visited her daughter in Israel. Graveside service and celebration of Goldie's life will be held at Shafter Memorial Park at 11:00am on Friday the 18th of November. Donations may be made in Goldie's name to the Golden Living Center Memory Care Unit in Shafter, CA.
