Visitation will be held Tuesday December 21st, 2010 from 2 to 8pm at Peter's Funeral Home, 844 East Ledro Hwy, Shafter. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday December 22, 2010 at 2pm at Shafter Memorial Park. Glenda Sue Worsham was born in Eufaula Okalahoma on August 25th, 1930. As a child, she lived in Bakersfield and later resided in Shafter where her family built their home with their own hands. Glenda worked very hard from an early age and continued to work until she retired. She was very loved by her family and was always there whenever anyone needed her. Glenda passed away peacefully at her home while in the presence of her daughters, Kelley Gonzales and Tina Mathews, on December 17, 2010 at the age of 80. Glenda was preceded in death by her mother, Samantha Little, her father, Hugh W. Little, her husband, Tommy Jr. Worsham, her daughter, Ramona Worsham, her sister, Stella Creekbaum, her brother, George Little, her granddaughter, Marissa Webb, her grandson, Elivorio Rodriguez and her Uncle Chester Little. She leaves two sisters, Mary White and Linda Wray; two daughters and two son-in-laws, Kelley and Freddy Gonzales and Tina and Wayne Mathews; 10 grandchildren: Donny, Derek, Matthew, Michael, Krista, Dale, Don, Kassey, Megan, and Cheryl; 19 great-grandchildren: Donald Jerry III, Steven Derek, Mattison, Anthony, Ricardo, Christian, Serenity, Skye, Zoye, Ashley, Shelby, Heather, Amber, Kesley, Allyssa, Kohlson, Kyla, Zale and Eirina; three great-great grandchildren, Chloe, Lilly Anna, and Logan; and also many nieces, nephews, cousins and many other relatives. The family would like to thank all of those who gave their generosity, support, and prayers. Words cannot express the great gratitude they have for the many people that helped during this time of their loss. She is not lost forever, But just for a while, We'll meet her again, And experience that smile.
