With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Glen Dean Shaw. He passed peacefully to his heavenly home on May 14, 2022, in Bakersfield, California. He was born April 22, 1943, to Glen Boone Shaw and Opal Vivian Shaw (Castleberry). He is survived by his wife Judith, her son Gordon Cheek and Glen's four children, Cindy Wonderly (Mike), Michelle Shaw, Glen Allen Shaw (Julie), and Stacy Cargill (Bill). He is also survived by his brother, Bert Shaw. Grandchildren Tori Samarco (Josh), Casey Shaw (Kearstyn), Corbin Cline, Monique Wonderly, Austin Monroe (Carlee), Morgan Wonderly, Makenzie Monroe, Allison Shaw, and Matthew Wonderly (McKenna). And his precious great grandchildren Rylee, Roxzen, Saige, Asher, Truitt, and Kynlee. Glen lived his early days in Wasco, California. After graduating from Wasco High School, he married and headed to Arkansas for work, then Los Angeles before finally calling Bakersfield home. He worked for Greyhound Bus Lines before they closed and then he started his gardening business. He was a gardener for over 20 years. Glen was a wonderful husband, Dad, Grandpa and Great Grandpa. He led a simple life full of kindness and love. He was a true example of love and patience.
