Ms. Gladys Arudrey Archer, a 32 year resident of Morongo Valley, California died on Feb. 24, 2009 at home. She was 86 years old. The daughter of William R. and Bertie (Wiggins) Carter, Ms. Archer was born Jan. 29, 1923, in Moss Point, Miss. She was a cosmetologist in a beauty salon for 35 years.
