IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Gertrude Lucille
Hall
October 4, 1918 – February 22, 2007
Gertrude Lucille Hall October 4, 1918 - February 22, 2007 A graveside service was conducted for Gertrude Lucille Hall, age 88, on Tuesday February 27, at 1pm, at Wasco Memorial Park. Pastor Ed Boschman of Laurelglen Bible Church officiated the service. Visitation was held on Monday, February 26, from 2-8pm at Peters Funeral Home in Wasco. Gertrude was born in Haskell, Oklahoma to Robert and Rosie Evans on October 4, 1918. She married Joe Hall on October 22, 1932 in Red Oak, Oklahoma; the couple stayed in the area and began their family in Wilberton. In 1942 the couple moved to the Wasco Ca. where they raised their children and farmed. After retirement the couple moved to Mendota to be closer to family and stay busy in the farming business of their son, Earl Hall. Gertrude spent her life as a homemaker; she always felt comfortable at home. Gertrude was the kind of proud mother and wife who enjoyed caring for her boys. Whether it was through sewing and cooking for the boys, or just calling to check up on things and makes sure they were alright. She also enjoyed getting out of the house to go to Rodeos occasionally. Gertrude was preceded in death by her husband, Joe, and sons W.D. Hall and baby Robert Hall. She is survived by her sons, James Hall and wife Sandy, of Visalia, Earl Hall and wife Beverly, of Fresno; a daughter in law Marlene Hall Barton and her husband Ray, of Bakersfield; a brother, Clarence Evans, of Shafter; grandchildren and their spouses, Brad Hall, Stacy and Todd Hampton, Peggy and Harold Sisemore, Penny and Chris Skeels; great grandchildren and their spouses, Dallona and Jimmy Etheredge, Devin Sisemore, Heather and Bill Noll and Hillary Skeels; and two great great grandchildren, Triston and Madison. The family would like to offer special thanks to those caregivers who have meant so much to the Hall family in recent years: Dolores Gill, Lorraine Garcia, Nellie Virgil and Gertrude's RN Irene. Donations may be made in Gertrude's name to Hinds Hospice, 1616 W. Shaw B-6, Fresno CA 93711. Peters Funeral Home.
