Gerardo P. Sanchez was born October 26, 1960 to Ma. Ismael P (Parra) and Ramon Sanchez in Sinaloa, Mexico. He passed away, Monday, July 6, 2009 in Bakersfield. Gerardo was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. He loved working in his garden, walking the family dog when ever possible but most of all he loved his family. He worked at Maya Dairy for 25 years. Gerardo was known to most of his friends and family as "El Chinchorro". His smile and big heart will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Gerardo P. Sanchez is survived by his loving family; wife, Susan; son, Gerardo Sanchez Jr.; Daughters, Claudia (husband Gustavo) Acevedo, Adriana (husband Javier) Esparza, Veronica (husband Augustine) Camargo and Leticia Sanchez; 3 beautiful and precious grandchildren. Combination Mass of the Resurrection and recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held Saturday, July 11th for Gerardo P. Sanchez, age 48, on Saturday, July 11, 2009 – 12:oopm at St. Therese's Catholic Church. Visitation is on Friday, July 12th from 2-8pm.
