IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Gene
Evaro
October 4, 1971 – October 25, 2021
On the morning of Monday, October 25, Gene Evaro passed away joining his parents Raymond and Diana Evaro, along with his sisters Evelyn, Diane and Yvonne in heaven. He is survived by his Wife Lynette, three children, Jackie, Regina, and Jacob as well as his brother Danny. Gene Evaro was many things throughout his time on Earth, an athlete, soldier, musician, uncle, husband, brother, and father. Many will remember him for his outgoing personality and unique sense of humor, He held pride in his athleticism, while attending Wasco Union High School Gene participated in wrestling, baseball, and football; even going so far as to win the 1990 SSL League Championship in baseball. He also had a immense propensity for duty and served in the United States Army from 1990-1996. During his service he received many accolades, excelling as an infantryman and successfully completing Airborne and Air Assault courses. While serving Gene Evaro also carried a deep love for music throughout his life a love he had passed down from his own parents. Anytime he was around music was sure to follow. He was a beautiful guitar player and never failed to remind his family of his high school 80's rock band, Tidus. As a father Gene was a loving mentor and a stern guiding hand. Some of his own professed proudest accomplishments was being able to coach and imbue his love of baseball with hos son Jacob. Out of all three children his middle daughter Regina was his lucky totem, he enjoyed games of chance and shared in the excitement of gambling. He also passed down his sense of honor and duty to his oldest daughter Jackie who followed in his footsteps and joined the United States Army. As a husband he was a best friend, confidant, and partner in crime for more than 30 years to his wife Lynette. He is loved and missed deeply by all who knew him. He loss will forever bring tears of sadness along with tears of joy for having had the experience to have had him in our lives.
